My Story

I am Not Your Mama...

There’s no one I love more in the world than my kids, but let’s face it—parenting is not easy. From carpools, to homework to bath time, I’m the first to flop down on my couch at the end of a long day and fall asleep to my favorite show. But one thing’s true—there’s nothing like seeing that big smile on a child’s face to make it all worth it. Not Your Mama's Blog was created for parents who believe that not every day needs to be perfect in order to be wonderful. I provide real tips that are easy to implement so you can get back to what matters most—making precious memories with your family. Another reason this blog was created was to share real life experiences, to show others that they are not alone.

I struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD. My struggles began after a miscarriage. It seemed like my life then spiraled out of control. I am really hoping this blog not only helps myself, but others as well.
